The freedom to finally be done with diets

Why I fired the diet industry at 63

You know that moment when you realize you're done? Like, really DONE?

That was me in 2017. After retiring (and gaining those lovely "adjustment" pounds), I found myself staring at yet another weight loss program wondering, "Is this really all there is?"

Let me back up a bit.......

Like many of you, I was a certified diet veteran. Name a program, I'd tried it: Counting every calorie Tracking endless points* Eating precisely 5 meals a day *Exercising to "earn" my food *Following someone else's rules about when and what to eat.

Did they work? Sure--temporarily. I'd lose weight, feel accomplished, and then....Reality would hit, These weren't sustainable solutions, there were just fancy cages.

What I really wanted was simple: ✔️Eat foods I actually enjoy ✔️Lose weight without obsessing ✔️Keep it off without constant struggle ✔️Live my life without food rules running the show.

Sound familiar?

The Game-Changer....

Then I discovered something that transformed everything: coaching. Not the "here's another meal plan" kind. Real coaching that taught me: Eat when hungry, stop when satisfied (revolutionary, right?) Move because you want to, not because you "have to" *Sleep well, hydrate well *Most importantly: Change your thoughts, change your life.

The results? 30 pounds gone-and staying gone-for over 4 years. But the real victory? Freedom from the diet hamster wheel.

This changed me so profoundly, that at 63, I made the decision to become a certified life coach myself. Because here's what I know now: It's never too late to change your relationship with food *Mid-life isn't an expiration date on your dreams *The best time to start is always now.

Today, I'm still on this journey (working on my last 20 pounds), but now I'm helping other women find their freedom too. Because if I can start a new business at 63 and finally find peace with food, imagine what's possible for you.

Ready to explore a different way? Let's talk. No rules, no rigid plans--just real support for women who are ready to be done with diets for good.

Drop a comment below or reach out--I'd love to hear your story and show you how this approach could work for you too.

P.S. Still skeptical? I get it! That's why I'd love to share more about how this actually works in real life--your life. Stay tuned for more posts where I'll break down exactly how to navigate social events, holidays, and yes--even chocolate cravings!
