What My Puppy's First Birthday Taught Me About Transformation
I had one of those moments today that stops you in your tracks. My fur baby just turned ONE! š
Sitting here, scrolling through my phone (you know that rabbit hole of puppy photos we all fall into), I was struck by how much has changed Those first photos of her tiny paws, the midnight potty breaks, the way she used to fit perfectly in one hand ā how is that already a year ago?

It's funny how time works, isn't it? One minute you're setting up puppy pads and checking your phone every hour for potty reminders, and the next you're celebrating a first birthday with a fully grown dog who's become your constant companion.

This morning's nostalgia trip got me thinking about something I hear all too often in my work with women over 50. The familiar refrains of:
"I'll start focusing on my health next month..." "I'll figure out this food stuff after the holidays..." "Maybe next year will be different..."
Sound familiar?
Here's the truth that hit me while looking at those puppy photos: Time is going to pass anyway. Whether you take action or not, those months and years will roll by. Just like my puppy didn't stay tiny forever, your "someday" plans won't manifest unless you take action today.
This realization is exactly why I'm so passionate about helping women stop waiting for the perfect moment to start their health journey. Because there's something powerful about looking back and seeing progress instead of regret.
Think about it: A year from now, you could be looking at your own "before and after" photos. But instead of puppy pictures, you'll be seeing your own transformation. Wouldn't you rather be thinking "Wow, I can't believe how far I've come" instead of "I wish I had started sooner"?
That's actually why I'm so excited to announce that I've been working on something brand new. It's designed specifically for women who are ready to stop waiting and start creating lasting change in their lives. And before you ask ā no, it's not another diet or strict eating plan.
This is different.
This is about:
Finally finding peace with food
Creating sustainable, lasting change
Working with your body, not against it
Building habits that actually fit your life
Because while we can't slow down time (trust me, I've tried ā my puppy is proof!), we can make sure the time that passes counts for something.
Stay tuned ā I'll be sharing more details about this exciting new program in the next few days. In the meantime, I'd love to hear from you: What's one change you've been putting off that you could start today?
